5/10 of us will always reach for the products we know &love over trying something new, whether that be because of the colour, texture or the brand itself. I can be pretty open with what makeup i apply whether it be soft or dramatic but i thought id share with you guys the lip products i reach for daily!

Myth & Honeylove

obviously there would be some MAC products there as i work for the company so I'm forever trying out different colours new colours & i know what i prefer & when i don't. 9 times out of 10 (unless we have a theme day) i will have Myth or Honeylove on. Paired with Cork lip liner you honestly cant go wrong.

Cairo & London

i honestly didn't think i would rave about these products as much as i do, so we all know the NYX counter opened in Boots across the UK & everyone went crazy for it! i picked up two of the soft matte liquid lipsticks & i honestly don't think I've ever used anything like these. The formula is amazing feels like a gel when applying but once that lipstick is on ain't nothing standing in its way! i love to mix these two colours together also for a more ombre lip!

                                       

now I'm not always a glossy person as you can probably tell 3/4 lipsticks I've put above are matte, but this KIKO gloss is to die for! I will wear this on no makeup days, or even paired with a liner & a matte lipstick that i want to look more glossy, its not sticky at all & really does plump your lips!

ST Moriz Advanced Pro Formula.

we all know & have a love for a certain tan but how do we know how to love something if we haven't experienced it before? I was very lucky to be sent over some of the St Moriz new professional range. 

Personally i have only ever tried a few self tanners in my time but would always take myself for a spray tan as i have dry skin & it always seemed to stick to the patches if i applied myself. Yes yessss i did prep my skin first but nothing seemed to look like the natural tan i was trying to achieve.

now this review is 100% my honest opinion and i would always be true to my word. This professional range is by far one of the best self tanners i have ever tried & St Moriz have thought about it all starting from exfoliating/primer in one to the maintain of the tan.

I start by prepping my skin with the Exfoliating Skin Primer, my skin always feels silky anyway after this but i would always go in with a moisturiser before the tan. So i apply a tiny bit of the Moisturising Tan Enhancer & my skin feels divine. If I'm only wearing it for casual i will always go for the Velvet Finish Gel as its a developing one & doesn't sit crazy dark on me (i only ever use Medium) now for a night out ill apply the 5 in 1 Tanning Mousse. The next morning i shower & again apply a small amount of the Tan enhancer to keep my tan looking as natural as possible, the developing i feel doesn't have an 'tan' smell afterwards, the instant one does but its very mild. Also i find i don't have to buff any of these products in crazy amounts to make sure they're not gonna streak.

i cannot even tell you guys how much these products have changed my tanning experience, well lets put it this way i haven't had a spray tan for 8 months because the St Moriz range has genuinely been my best friend. i highly recommend that you try some of these products if you are like me & couldn't find one you love. let me know if you guys would like some before & after photos & i will do a whole new post on application, maintaining & how much wear i get.

Viva Glam Miley 2.

Anyone that knows me knows I'm the shittiest person ever when it comes to wearing colour on the lips, like seriously i don't think I've ever bought a coloured lipstick in my whole life. Obviously now i have to venture out as weekends at work we have look days & all of us have to wear our interpretation of the makeup look.

imagine my face when i saw the first dark lip. That wasn't a good day & i think i sulked for around 4 hours. I only work 6 hours out of the day this lipstick is something id never pick up if i wasn't told too. But my god do i love it!

even just the look of it how insane is the colour so MAC Viva Glam lipsticks are brought out for the MAC aids fund every single penny of the money raised goes into that fund so when you're dodging them guys on the streets with the buckets (i know you do) you don't have to feel bad you've already done your good dead & you got an amazing lipstick in return right?

i wore it with a strong wing when i was at work just using our blacktrack fluidline & applied with a 266 

but when i wore it on my holiday i literally just wore lashes & that's why i love it. Dress it up or down, you choose.

the last time we spoke i was in college trying to find my way in the makeup world

one year on i am a MAC makeup artist in my area.

some of you may remember the cringe post i did around two years ago now when 

i went for my first ever interview there,

 who'd have thought the next time i was updating my blog id been working there a year!

so yeah I'm in my dream job with my little makeup family & 

life is good.

i want to get this blog back on track now as i have a little more time on my hands

oh & did i mention the parents have just treat me to a Mac Book.

So i literally have O excuse.

but this is where i need you guys to help me out!

obviously with my job & lifestyle at the moment makeup is my thing.
